Happy Anniversary and Welcome to Facebook Live!!

I sat and I pondered and thought to myself, "What could I do to celebrate 8 years (this past May) in business?" This year is so significant to me because, more than the number 8 meaning, "a new beginning", I was actually living it as a reality in my business.

You see, earlier this year, I was looking to close the doors on "Tyvee B Creations" and just chill out for a while or maybe start fresh with something else. Of course, if you're a "creative" and you're reading this, you know that "chilling out" is never an option! Our brains don't compute the command, "shut down" at all--lol!

So, while planning to close up shop, I was preparing for a couple of events that I had previously committed to, before I was to say, "so long, farewell...(use your singing voice and finish the line)". And I'd decided not to purchase any new materials but rather, use what I already had in my studio. I had ran across some button making materials and some scrap fabric and decided to use up what I could and make some button earrings.

Well, among other divine intervention-like things that took place over a short period of time, particularly at these two events, the button earrings I had made were a hit!! I'm still in awe when I think about it to this day. WHO KNEW??!

So, with some conquering of the fear of going live on Facebook (or anywhere else for that matter), I decided that going live on Facebook with a $5 button earrings sale would be a good way to say, "Happy Anniversary" and "Welcome to your new beginning, Tyvee B Creations!". To be honest, I had faith that it would be a great experience and good outcome, but I had NOTHING else to go on but that--faith!! I had no statistics, no teaching, no nothing--just faith! And I will tell you, that our first live event was AMAZING!! The response was incredible and after two hours of showcasing 50 prints, one pair after the other with other special sales and giveaways in the mix, it felt like 30 minutes!!! We had so much fun! And, I exceeded my sales goal! YES!!

And so, we decided to do it again and it was a success!! Our Series II top sellers are for sale now online so grab them while they're hot because they won't be there long!
