A year ago today I received a call that would change the way I would have to navigate throughout life for the upcoming year and afterwards. I was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer.
Jeremiah 29:11 was always a special scripture to me, as I know it is to many others as well, but on this very day, it became real.
Everything the Father was telling me and showing me about my life coming into 2020 was preparing me for this very day. I had no clue how this scripture would keep my head above water many days.
But it did.
God had simply told me to “stay the course” as we were coming into 2020 and I simply said, “alright”.
Jeremiah 29:11 showed me that my end-my outcome-was already taken care of. It was handled by Yahweh. All I would have to do is walk the path.
Leave all the hard work and consequences to Him and simply, “stay the course.”
It’s a year later and though I’m still in the course; though I’m still on the path; I’m cancer free 🙌🏽
I have a ways to go with treatment and other preventative measures, but I know who holds my time. I know who’s holding my hand. I know who’s carrying me when necessary.
I know how my end is set up. . . Victorious.
Be encouraged. This path is life. This plight is just a place-marker. Your end is victorious.
And I’m grateful for the love, prayers, support, etc. that I’ve received and have continued to receive. I pray the Father blesses you 100 fold for your generosity.
P. S. Don’t be surprised if you see Jeremiah 29:11 designs throughout this website. It’s intentional-lol. But now you have a little history.
